Criteria for New Author Submissions

Keller Media, Inc. handles ONLY nonfiction books for adults.

We do NOT accept any:

• Juvenile
• Fiction
• Screenplays (stopped selling them in 1992)
• True crime or books written by incarcerated people
• Books intended for the Christian market
• Autobiographies or memoirs of overcoming ANY addiction, physical or mental illness
• Books that have been channeled by animals, aliens, rocks or dead people. This applies even if you really believe you hear Jesus, Mother Theresa, Princess Di or Gandhi. (Sorry...but say "hi" for us!)

If you send us one of these topics, you won't hear back from us at all.

We would LOVE to read all about your nonfiction book idea on one of these subject areas:

• Business (sales, management, marketing, leadership or finance)
• Self-Help and Pop Psychology (weight loss, get happy, use your brain, have a better marriage, be a better parent, etc. - assuming you have a platform of some kind to support you spreading in this message.)
• Health (anything EXCEPT personal stories of illness/recovery or how you cared for an ill person.)
• Politics (your impeccable high-level credentials are 100% mandatory.)
• Inspirational and Metaphysical (but note: we're highly selective here)
• How-To (most subjects welcome)
• Reference and Compendiums (the ultimate guidebook to...)
• History (all countries and civilizations) & Science
• Celebrity or Very Unusual Memoirs and Bios
• Popular Culture and Current Affairs (selectively)
• Spiritual (any faith except Christianity)

Please DO NOT send hard copy manuscripts without permission. We prefer to begin with an electronic query with NO attachments. Send your one-page query briefly stating your subject and credentials, plus your contact info and website URL (if applicable) to Query@KellerMedia.com.
